Power tools worth more than $2,000 stolen from vehicle

Police remind residents to report suspicious activity right away

The theft of more than $2,000 of DeWalt power tools took place from a vehicle at a North Perth address, according to a news release from the Ontario Provincial Police.

On Dec. 7 just after 8 a.m., officers received a report of the incident on Wellington Avenue South.   

It was determined that unknown individual(s) attended the address and gained entry to a vehicle, the release added.

The Perth County OPP remind residents to keep all vehicles and buildings locked and report any suspicious activity immediately. Consider installing security features, such as increased lighting, cameras, or alarms.
