North Perth break-in under investigation

$2,000 in electronics, other miscellaneous items reported stolen

Police are investigating the break-in that occurred at a residence located on Line 60 in North Perth.

Electronics, an appliance, and other miscellaneous items valued at approximately $2,000 were reported stolen, said a news release from Perth County OPP.

Anyone with information is urged to contact the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or *OPP (677) on your mobile phone. Anonymous tips may be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS) or online.

"Police are continuing to investigate and ask the public to report suspicious activity immediately, and remember to lock doors to vehicles, houses, garages, and sheds," the release says. "Do not leave keys with vehicles. Consider installing security features, such as increased lighting, cameras, and/or alarms."
