WEST PERTH – Perth County OPP have charged a London resident in connection with a traffic stop in West Perth last month.
Police say on Tuesday, Nov. 21, just after Noon, officers on patrol in the area of Perth Line 20 observed a motor vehicle that caught their attention, and a traffic stop was initiated.
A 52-year-old from London is charged with operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, operation while Impaired - blood alcohol concentration (80 plus) and failing to report an accident.
The driver's license was suspended for 90 days and her vehicle was impounded for seven days, police said in a news release.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Stratford on Jan. 8.
