A collision between a semi-truck/trailer and a passenger vehicle has claimed the life of a 20-year-old Perth East resident.
Huron OPP report the collision occurred at the intersection of Donnybrook Line and Belgrave Road, in Ashfield-Colborne-Wawanosh Township.
Police, fire and paramedic crews responded at about Noon on Wednesday after a 911 call.
Emergency services located both heavily damaged vehicles and discovered that the driver of the passenger vehicle sustained a fatal injury and was pronounced deceased at the scene, police said.
The investigation is ongoing, and the cause of the collision is being investigated.
Police said the name of the deceased is not being released to the public.
