The Emily Murphy Centre invites you to their spring fundraiser next month!
Tickets are on sale now for Euchre with Emily, set to take place April 19 at 6:30 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 8 (804 Ontario St., Unit B1, Stratford).
Later this year, The Emily Murphy Centre will mark 35 years as a safe home and a new start for women and children who have experienced domestic violence in Stratford, St. Marys and throughout Perth County.
This is the first major fundraiser in quite a while and a good hook for a conversation about how EMC serves communities.
"The need has never been greater. We are consistently at capacity with a waiting list, as well as serving many families living in the community through our outreach programs," the organization said in a news release issued today.
Tickets are $25 each and can be purchased in advance. Attendees are asked to register in advance by emailing [email protected] or calling 519-273-7350. Registration is limited.
