No damage in possible train track arson in Mitchell: OPP

Perth County OPP are looking for witnesses and possible surveillance footage following a potential arson in Mitchell last night.

In a news release issued today, police say they and the West Perth Fire Department responded to a fire just before 9 p.m. last night in the Municipality of West Perth. Three people, believed to be youths, were observed starting a fire at the train tracks next to the bridge near Blanchard Street.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and there was no damage caused to the train tracks.
