A Mapleton e-bike operator had their license suspended after a traffic stop in North Perth last week.

Around 10:53 p.m. on Aug. 14, Perth County Ontario Provincial Police stopped the e-bike on Line 90 after police say it was "all over the road."

Police say that, while speaking with the driver, it became apparent that the driver had been drinking and officers administered a roadside screening device.

As a result, a 40-year-old had their license suspended for three days and was also charged with driving while under suspension.

The accused was released and is scheduled to appear in court in September to answer to the charge.
