Thomas Allan ‘Tom’ Woodhouse, age 77, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Born in Ingersoll, Ontario, son of the late Dorothy (nee Shrugnall) and the late Horace Woodhouse. Beloved husband of Judy (nee Jacobs) Woodhouse. Loved father of the late Tim Woodhouse, survived by Dan Woodhouse (Jackie McCracken Woodhouse) and Chris Woodhouse. Loving grandfather of 8 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
Tom will be remembered by his siblings Steve Woodhouse (Denise), Sheila Woodhouse Drybrough (Jeff), the late Richard Woodhouse (Pidge) as well as brother-in-laws Bill Jacobs (Mary) and Dave Jacobs (late Judy) and sister-in-law Ellen DeWaal (late Albert). Also remembered by Laurie Ellis (Dave) and many loving nieces and nephews.
Tom was an avid wood worker and loved being in the garage building with his daughter. Tom also had a huge passion for fishing. You could find him bright and early at Joes diner. He will be deeply missed by many.
A celebration of Tom’s life will be held at a later date. Date, time and location to be confirmed and will be announced here.
