Elizabeth Brown Waugh, age 85, passed away peacefully at the Mitchell Nursing Home on May 15, 2022. Mom was diagnosed with Huntington’s 18 years ago and would not let it beat her. She embraced what was handed to her with grace and passed on International Huntington’s Awareness Day. Born in Scotland, daughter of the late George and Jessie (Brown) Carson.
Elizabeth was predeceased by her husband Archie May 11, 2004. Loving mother of Jan Wood-Salomon (Stephen), Kathryn Marion Waugh (Doug Sears), David Waugh (Heather), Ian Waugh (Karen) and Leslie Pflance (Jim). Gran to Sarah Hennessey (Neil), Eric Wood-Salomon (Jaclyn), Samantha Waugh-Brown (Shawn), Sean Waugh, Katie DeBrouwer (Brad), Mackenzie Waugh, Jimmy Waugh, Christopher Pflance (Amanda), Chelsey Pflance (Josh), James Cooper and 11 great grandchildren. Also survived by sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law James (Olivia), Kitty, Marion (Bill), Grace (Bill) and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by a grandson Michael, daughter-in-law Michelle Waugh, sister Anna Wood (John) and brother-in-law Charles Waugh
