Lianne Elisabeth Petronella Maria Vink, age 58, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 25, 2023.
Born in Etten-Leur, Netherlands, daughter of Corrie (Monden) and the late Adrianus Kerstens. Lianne “Babe” is survived by her true love and best friend of 37 years Brian James Vink. The best mother of Jenny (Adam) Riehl, Corey (Claire) Vink, Amanda (Mark) Harwood, and Jason (Kayla) Vink. Oma will be missed so much by Annabelle, Julia, Stewart and Sawyer. Lianne will be remembered by her brother Ed Kersten, Her sisters and brothers -in-law MaryAnne (Howard)Cook, Brenda (Rod) Herbert, Helen Vink (Gary Vanniere), John (Shauna) Eve and along with her many nieces and nephews. Lianne was Brian’s life partner and soulmate. They farmed together, raised their children together and enjoyed most of all the time spent with family and friends. Lianne touched many lives will be fondly remembered for her kindness, generosity and contagious smile.
Brian and his family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of Stratford General Hospital-Chemo Unit, St. Marys Memorial Hospital, CarePartners Stratford and a very special thank you to Helen Vink, your kindness will never be forgotten. Besides her father Lianne was predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Cor and Betty Vink, sisters-in-law Cathy Inskip, Margaret Eve, her brother-in-law Tom Vink and nephew Greg Cook.
Family and friends are invited the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford on Saturday, April 29, 2023 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The family will celebrate Lianne’s life on Sunday, April 30, 2023 with a private family service. Lianne will be laid to rest in St. Marys Cemetery on Monday, May 1, 2023. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made directly to St. Marys Healthcare Foundation or Stratford General Hospital Foundation- Chemo Unit by credit card through W. G. young Funeral Home.
