Norman Walter Vail, age 76, of Stratford, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at Spruce Lodge (Stratford). Born in London, Ontario, son of the late Robert and Ethel (Pryce) Vail. Norman is survived by his Loving wife of 53 years Rosemary (Fox) Vail. Proud father of the late Kevin Vail (deceased June 1, 2015) daughter-in-law Jen Vail, Danielle (Joseph) Vail-Carere, Christopher (Janet) Vail, Cyndi (Alex) Brubacher and honorary daughter Mary (Al) Cecil. Loving grandfather of Kayla, Shaun, Spencer, David, Kennedy, Alexis, Emerysn, Kelsey and Aubrey. Norman will be remembered by his brother Robert (Fran) Vail, his sisters Donna (John) Fleischauer, Janette (Joe) Masse, his sister-in-law Jane Vail and his brother-in-law Russell (Sharon) Fox.
Norman had a creative mind who was always looking for his next adventure. Norman retired as a Chiropractor after 40 plus years practicing in Stratford, he was a member of many organizations including Mason Tecumseh Lodge No.144, he enjoyed time spent with his children and grandchildren and he was an avid fisherman.
Besides his parents and his son, Norman was predeceased by his brother Donald Vail (2008). A celebration of Norman’s Life along with a Masonic Service, to which all are welcome, will take place on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at 3-5 p.m. at Knox Presbyterian Church, 142 Ontario St, Stratford.
