William Russell Roegele of St. Marys, passed away on Monday, April 18, 2022 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital at the age of 88, with his loving family by his side.
Born in Stratford, son of the late George and Edna (Wolfe) Roegele. Bill was predeceased by his loving wife Mary “Lenore” (Foley) Roegele of 65 years on February 5, 2021. Loving father of Cheryl Heming (Adrian), Steve Roegele and Cathy Cubberley (Brent). “PAPA” was loved by grandchildren Chad Heming (Nicki), Scott Heming (Jackie), Christopher Rudy – Roegele, Amy Cubberley (Derek) and Stosh Cubberley (Elizabeth). He adored his great grandchildren Ryan and Baby Kendall. Besides his parents and his wife Lenore, Bill was predeceased by his mother and father-in-law Gert and Henry Foley, his sisters Myrtle Whiting (Lorne), Norma Baker (Bill), Jeanne McDonald (Lorne) and Betty Schenck (Lloyd) and his sister-in-law Betty Schenck (Lorne).
We give heartfelt Thanks to the staff at Kingsway Lodge for the exceptional care our father received for the past year. In keeping with Bill’s wishes cremation has taken place, and interment of Bill and Lenore will take place in St. Marys Cemetery.
