It’s with profound sadness that on May 3, 2023 following a lengthy battle of brain cancer, Timothy Richard Piercey 23 years young of Stratford, Ontario passed away peacefully with his Dad and aunt Michelle holding his hand. Tim was born May 12, 1999 in Stratford Ontario to Wavey and Richard Piercey.
Tim was a little brother to Ryan and a proud Uncle to Leo.
Tim attended Northwestern school. Tim loved going camping with his mom dad and brother, fishing and riding bike, playing video games, hanging out with his friends Riley, Aaron, Mike and Darrian were his closest buddies.
Tim was diagnosed at the young age of 15 years with brain cancer which he had chemo radiation and many surgeries to give him utmost quality of life. Tim always had a million dollar smile he lit up the room and always gave the best genuine hugs.
Tim always had a very positive outlook on life and lived his best possible life throughout all his treatment, surgeries, and hospital stays.
When Tim lost his mom to leukaemia at the age of 5 Aunt Lil stepped up and helped Richard and Tim immensely with appointments, support through hospital stays and sleep overs at her house. She was his rock.
Tim is deeply missed by his Dad Richard his older brother Ryan (Rachel) his nephew Leo, his Aunt Michelle and Uncle David, Aunt Lil and Uncle Don, Aunt Judy and Cousin Della and Merrick.
Also leaving to mourn many more aunts, uncles and cousins.
There will be a day of last respects to family at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford Saturday May 6, 2023 from 2 pm - 6 pm There will be a Celebration of life which we invite you to bring a happy story to share on Sunday, May 7, starting at 1 pm at Don and Lil Morash, 237 Hickory Lane, Crystal Lake. A graveside burial will be held on Tuesday, May 9 at 11 am at Avondale Cemetery, Stratford. www.wgyoungfuneralhome.com
