With sadness, we announce the passing of Alan on October 8, 2023 at the age of 87. A beloved husband to the late Margaret, the love of his life. Father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, Alan was the only son to Ernest Albert Payter and Mildred Louisa Twinberrow.
He will be deeply missed by his four children, Robert (Lori), Richard (Barb), Lynne, Andrew (Licia). Loving grandfather to Nicole (Andy), Faith (Andrew), Adam (Kaitlyn), Bevan (Alexis), Kate, Brittany, Paul. Proud great-grandfather to Sophie, Cohen, and Noah. He will also be missed and remembered by extended family and friends in England.
He will always be remembered for his infectious sense of humour, which he maintained until the end, and for his love of golf and fishing.
