Ruth Ann Miller, age 72, of Kitchener and formerly of Stratford, passed away on Sunday May 22, 2022 at Freeport Hospital (Kitchener) after a long courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Kitchener, daughter of the late Ezra and Ida (Gerber) Stere. Ruth Ann was predeceased by her husband Bob Miller (Feb 27, 2022) and her son Scott Miller (September 23, 1992). Proud mother of Jimmy (Amy) Miller of New Brunswick and Jody (Jim) Brethet of Kitchener. Grandmother of Cady, Lexie, Maran, Sammy and Charlee. Ruth Ann worked for many years at the Stratford Festival as an usher and later in ticket sales. Ruth Ann will be fondly remembered by her brother Orval (Carol) Stere and her sister-in-law Ina (Jim) Seyler.
She will be fondly remembered by the Stere and Miller families along with her many nieces, nephews and cousins. Ruth Ann was also predeceased by her father-in-law and mother-in-law Herbert and Lily (Edward) Miller and her brothers Neil Stere and Verle Stere.
Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
