Peacefully on Monday, October 9, 2023 at Rotary Hospice Stratford Perth, David James Meek passed away in his 79th year, surrounded by his loving wife and their daughter and grandsons. Born in Toronto, son of the late James William and Ann Russell (Hendry) Meek. Loving husband of Laurel Ann (Holmes) Meek of 49 years. Proud father of Kristen Ann Lott.
Grandfather of Ryan Jordan Lott and Logan Damon Lott. Dave will be remembered by his family and friends.
Dave worked in the beverage industry in sales and service for most of his career. He was a member of the Lions Club in Hillsburgh for many years. Dave and Laurel retired to Stratford in 2010 to be closer to Kristen and her two boys.
Laurel and Kristen would like to thank the doctors, nurses and volunteers of the Rotary Hospice who all went above and beyond to make Dave’s remaining time very comfortable and helped him pass with dignity. He was a man of few words but was able to keep his sense of humour to the very end.
