McMILLAN: Donald Floyd "Don"

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at the Stratford General Hospital. Don McMillan of Stratford and formerly of North Easthope Township in his 92nd year.

Beloved husband of Margaret (Tanner) McMillan whom he married August 28, 1964. Dear father of Valerie Roth of Stratford and Bob & wife Julie of Gadshill. Sadly missed by his grandsons Nolan and Reid. Survived by his brother-in-law Bob Tanner (Joan) of Listowel, sister-in-law Marion Scott of Milverton, nephew Randy & Nancy Mogk of Port Stanley and his niece Terri Mogk & Alan Youngash of Orillia.

Predeceased by his parents Lorne & Beatrice (Capling) McMillan and by his sisters Claribel McMillan (1949) and Aletha (2012) and husband Carman Mogk (1997), niece Wendy Mogk (2011), mother and father-in-law Alba & Harvey Tanner, brother-in-law Don & Elaine Tanner, sister-in-law Betty Tanner, brother-in-law Delmer Scott.

Don was born, raised and farmed in North Easthope Township until retiring to Stratford in 1997. In his younger years Don was active in Junior Farmers. Don was was a member of the North Easthope Pipe Band and then the Stratford Pipe Band. Don was also a member of the Masonic Lodge for many years.

Relatives and friends will be received in the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N. Tavistock on Friday from 4-7pm. Funeral Service will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, February 17, 2024 at 11:00am. Reception to follow. Inurnment will take place later in Hampstead Cemetery.
