C. Grace McLeod, passed away at the Stratford General Hospital, on Saturday, September 2, 2023 in her 87th year. Born in Stratford on March 8, 1937. Daughter of the late Carl and Marion Schneider.
Grace played cribbage with the Ladies Crib League and also bowled and golfed. She loved to knit, crochet, sew, quilt, cross stitch and embroider and had been employed at FAG Bearings for 32 years.
Beloved wife and best friend to Ken McLeod Sr., for 47 years. Loving mother of Debra Evans (deceased April 23, 2018) and Gord Evans (Maryanne) and step-mother to Ken McLeod (Joanne). Cherished grandmother of Chantel Nightingale (Dwayne Spence) and Mat and Amanda Evans. Step grandmother to Samantha and Dylan. Great grandmother to Josh Nightingale and step-great grandmother to Ryan and Avery McLeod and Kacey McLeod.
Survived by her sister Catherine Greene, sister-in-law Marg Swatridge and brother-in-law Joe Leyser (Kathy). Predeceased by her mother and father-in-law Erna and Robert McLeod, brother-in-law Len Swatridge and sister-in-law Lois Leyser.
