Ruth Malcho, age 80, of Stratford, passed away peacefully with her daughter Shaina, and beloved niece Tracy at her side on Tuesday, February 27, 2024 at The Maples Home for Seniors in Tavistock. Born in Stratford, daughter of the late Harry and Merle (Wildgust) Malcho. Proud and loving mother of Shaina Malcho (Chris Fach) and much-loved grandmother to Brooke and Alexis Boudreau.
Ruth will be forever remembered by her brother Ron and sister-in-law Karen Malcho, niece Tracy (Paul) Schulthies and nephew Matt (Starr) Schulthies, along with many close friends with whom they shared a lifetime of memories. Ruth’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at The Maples Home for Seniors for making mom a part of your caring and comforting community.
As per Ruth’s wishes a private family graveside service took place at Avondale Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy memorial donations may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association or the Heart and Stroke Foundation through the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford.
