Ev was a loving wife, sister, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and loved watching her children play sports, she then took even more pleasure in watching her grandchildren at the baseball field, volleyball court, hockey and lacrosse arenas all over the province and in the USA. Her grandchildren were the best, you just needed to ask her. Ev and Hugh had a love of the outdoors and spent many years traveling and camping throughout Canada and the States.

Ev was an avid hockey fan of the Stratford Jr B Warriors for over 45 years. She was a faithful member of the United Church Women’s Auxiliary. Ev worked at the Royal Bank and then at Famme and Company for 33 years. She was an avid knitter for her entire adult life and made beautiful sweaters that many gave her complements on. She warmed many feet and hands over the years. Ev enjoyed line dancing as often as she could for many years at the Stratford Lakeside Active Adults Centre.

We would like to give many thanks to all the staff at Woodland Towers and Spruce Lodge for all the exceptional care and kindness that they have gave to Evelyn over the last several years.

The family will have a private ceremony at the graveside.
