Born on March 5, 1930, Bob passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024 at the Stratford General Hospital.
Born in Stratford to Frank and Helen Lightfoot. Survived by his wife of 70 years, Patricia (nee Bryan) and children Sally (Harry) Hengeveld, Robert (Laura) Lightfoot, Jeffrey (Suzanne) Lightfoot, Lisa (Trevor) Davies, Heather (Stephen) Herman and grandchildren Daniel and Matthew Hengeveld, Amy, Jasmine, Grant and Joseph Lightfoot, Samantha and Nicholas Lightfoot, Rhys and Julie Davies, Grace Herman, and step-grandchildren Zachary and Rachel, five great grandchildren and five step-great grandchildren. Also survived by son-in-law Roy (Judy) McMillan, sisters-in-law Irene Kistner and Margaret Bryan and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by daughter Julie McMillan, in-laws Cameron, Irene and Alec Bryan, his siblings Beryl, Ken, Brian and Betty and step-grandson Aaron Sloane.
Bob practiced as a chartered accountant for over 50 years and was senior partner at Monteith, Monteith and Co. Chartered Accountants. He was a longtime and active member of the Stratford Rotary Club and Avondale (Central) United Church. He further served his community through volunteering with many local organizations.
A private family funeral service will be held, followed by interment in Avondale Cemetery.
