Karen Elizabeth Klea passed away on May 21, 2022 at the age of 53 following a lengthy illness.
Karen is survived by her brother Robert Klea and nieces Ellyn and Lindsay. She is predeceased by her parents, Orville and Dorothy Klea, and sister-in-law Catherine Klea (Trethewey).
After graduating from Stratford Central Secondary School, Karen worked in a variety of retail settings. She enjoyed connecting with her customers and developed many friendships through these opportunities.
As an aunt to Ellyn and Lindsay, Karen created many memorable adventures for them as they grew up. She loved music, and gave her nieces an education in David Bowie, Duran Duran, and a local favourite, Helix. Ellyn and Lindsay often remarked how it was impossible to go into town with Karen without running into someone she knew. She was a friendly face to many who knew her from school or retail work. To her close friends she is remembered as a caring and loyal friend.

A family interment will take place at Avondale Cemetery. Friends are invited to celebrate Karen’s life in the Reception Centre of the W.G.
