Annis Marie Innes, age 87, of Stratford, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family at Spruce Lodge (Stratford) on Friday, April 28, 2023.
Born in Ellice Township, daughter of the late Lloyd and Laura (Steckly) Kipfer. Annis was predeceased by her husband Alexander Gibb Innes, June 5, 1993. Proud and loving mother of Cathy Innes, Keith (Joanne) Innes and Vicki Innes. Grandmother of Alison Fraser, Eric Farquhar, Nathan Innes, Ryan (Jackie) Innes, Jocelyn Innes, April Innes, Justin (Mara) Innes and great grandmother of Ashly, Taylor, Lauryn, Gage, Claire, Amelia and Montie. Annis will be fondly remembered by her siblings; Elmina Scheerer, Fern Durand, Burnell (Donna) Kipfer, Gary (Linda) Kipfer, Dale (Linda) Kipfer and her sisters-in-law Helen Kipfer, Elsie Gray, Francis Lannin and along with the entire Kipfer and Innes nieces and nephews. The family would like to sincerely thank all the wonderful doctors, nurses and staff of Spruce Lodge for the exceptional care provided to their mother. It will never be forgotten.
Besides her parents, Annis was predeased her mother and father-in-law Clarence and Beatrice Innes, her son Sandy Innes, her daughter Debbie Robson, her sister Shirley (Anson) Ehgoetz, her brothers Lyle Kipfer, Keith Kipfer and her grand-son-in-law Ian Fraser and her brothers-in-law George Scheerer and Tony Durand.
Family and Friends are invited to Annis’s visitation on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 from 7-9 p.m. at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford. Annis’s funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 4, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Avonton Presbyterian Church, 3401 County Road 130, Avonton, ON.
