Anna Mae Huras, age 99, was promoted to Glory on February 10, 2024. It was her wish to go to Heaven since September and we are so grateful that God peacefully answered her prayers and took her home. She was a good and faithful servant who trusted in the Lord her entire life. Anna Mae was a member of First St. John’s Lutheran Church, Seebach’s Hill.
Predeceased by her husband Roy in 1987, daughter Judi Barker (2021), grandson Michael Huras (2014), son-in-law Rick Barker (2014). Survived by her children Carol Moreton (Peter), Sharon Huras, Dan Huras, (Loreen), and Paula Taylor (Robert); grandchildren Valerie (Shane), Libby (Dale), Andrea (Rob), Kaitlyn (JP), Chris (Alex), Rebecca, Allycia (Brad), and Cassandra; great grandchildren Luke, Emma, Brooklen, Jaxon, Kennedi, Hunter, Carter, Jordan, Evelyn and Ronan.
Visitation for family and friends will take place at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, February 23, from 2-5 p.m. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, February 24, at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow.
