Phares Himburg, age 93, formerly of Milverton and Lucknow passed away peacefully at West Perth Village, Mitchell with family at his side on May 2, 2023. Born in Waterloo, September 1, 1929, son of the late Clarence and Gladys (Ashcroft) Himburg.
Beloved husband of the late Anna (Noble) who predeceased him in 1986. Loving father of Patricia Yost (Robert) and Glenn Himburg (Chris). Grandfather of Victoria Eckhardt (Steve), Valerie Yost (Travis), Casey Himburg, Aaron Himburg (Jennifer), Steve Himburg (Jennifer), Shanna Himburg (Shawn), Angela McNulty (Russ), Jessica Kaufman (Marcel), Carol Anne Brenner, Jared Brenner (Carly), Anna Beattie, Kevin Beattie and many great grandchildren.
Predeceased by son Phares John Himburg, daughters Margaret Brenner, Nancy Gail Beattie, dear friend Gladys Moon and siblings Gladys, Fred, Clare, Harry and Margaret.
A family graveside service will take place at St. Marys Cemetery. A celebration of Phares’s life will be held in the Reception Centre of the W.G.
