Linda Jean Herman, age 68, of Stratford, passed away at Stratford General Hospital on Monday, October 10, 2023, after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Born in London, daughter of the late Leo and Patricia (Dodgson) Uniac. Predeceased by her husband Gary Albert Herman (Nov 28, 2019). Linda is survived by her siblings Joann (Brad) Forbeck, Debbie (Larry) Spenler and along with her sisters-in-laws Nancy Bomasuit (Bob Kalmusky) and Becky Herman. Aunt Linda will be remembered by her nieces and nephews Shawn (Lisa), Jason, Jeremy, Chris (Rebecca), Melissa and her great nieces and great nephews Megan, Ryan, Hannah, Drew and Luka.
Linda’s family would like to sincerely thank all the doctors, nurses and staff of Stratford General Hospital for the wonderful care Linda received and to her family physician Dr. Haddad you are all very much appreciated. Besides, her husband and her parents, Linda was predeceased by her father and mother-in-law Ab and Doreen Uniac.
Family and friends are invited to visitation on Monday, October 16, 2023 at the W. G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment to follow in Avondale Cemetery. Reception to follow interment.
