June Mary Hazen, age 78, of Stratford, passed away at her residence on Thursday, August 17, 2023.
Born In Stratford, daughter of the late Willard and Elsie (Neff) Weitzel. Predeceased by her husband Willard John Hazen on November 9, 2020. Proud and loving mother of Janet Sutherland, Bill (Cathy) Hazen, Carol Hazen (David Heubner), Marylynn Slattery and Bruce Hazen. Grandmother of 11 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren along with nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and her husband Willard, June was predeceased by two sons Tim and Wayne Slattery.
As per June’s wishes, herself and her true love, Willard will be laid to rest with a public graveside service on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 at 10:00 a.m., at Avondale Cemetery, 4 Avondale Avenue. (Please meet just over the bridge off Avondale Avenue at 9:45 a.m.)
