Ruth Edna Fusick, in her 101st year, formally of Stratford, passed away peacefully at Kingsway Lodge St. Marys on Monday, June 5, 2023.
She was born August 14, 1922 in Tallman Saskatchewan, a daughter of the late Rudolf and Francine Flath. She was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Stratford. Beloved wife of the late Louis Richard Fusick (2006) whom she married July 26, 1947 in Mitchel. Loving mother of Bonnie (Michael) of Blacks Beach Australia, Larry of St. Marys. Predeceased by son Garry (Elaine) 2021. She will be sadly missed by her grandchilden Shawn Kelly (SunHee), Ryan Kelly, Devon Boivin (Michel), Robyn Fusick (Larry), Kyle Fusick (Steffanie), Justine Fusick (Tim) and also by 10 great grandchildren. Also survived by sister-in-law Zeda Flath and many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sisters Clara Keyko (Roland), Evelyn Huras (Donald), Joyce Flath and brother Rienhold Flath.
Family will receive friends at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 115 Cambria Street, Stratford on Friday June 9, from 9:30 a.m. until the funeral at 10 a.m. Rev. John Rapp will officiate. Interment will follow at Avondale Cemetery. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to St. Peter’s Lutheran Church or Kingsway Lodge through the W.G.
