FRASER, Steven Peter

Passed away peacefully on Monday, February 26, 2024 at the St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener. Steven Fraser of Stratford in is 68th year.

Beloved husband of Lisa (Bennewies) Fraser, whom he married March 18, 1989. Dear father of Matthew, the late Brandon (Nov 4, 2017), Jared (Dakotah) and Kelsey, all of Stratford. Survived by his brother Gary (Penny) Fraser and sister Ruth Wagner, all of Stratford, and by his in-laws Sheryl (Steve) Small of London, Murray (Michelle) Bennewies of Winthrop, Donald (Dianne) Bennewies of New Brunswick, Christine (Ron) Fleischauer of Brodhagen, Greg (Marlene) Bennewies of Matheson, and many nieces and nephews. Steve will also be missed by his loyal feline friend Louis.

Predeceased by his parents Glen & Catherine Fraser, sister Linda Ross, brother Donald Fraser, along with father and mother-in-law Ralph & Loretta Bennewies.

Steve spent his days occupied with his next project, watching hockey with his family, or planning his next getaway to Cuba with his wife. Whether it was a listening ear, a helping hand, or a shoulder to cry on, Steve was always there for friends, family, and neighbours.

Those lucky enough to have known Steve are invited to a celebration of his life on Saturday, March 9, 2024 from 1-4pm at the Francis Funeral Home, 77 Woodstock St. N. Tavistock with Words of Remembrance at 3:00pm (open mic). Food and refreshments provided.
