We are deeply saddened to announce the sudden passing of Randall “Randy” Terry Fink, age 62, of Rostock. Randy passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at Stratford General Hospital on February 23, 2024. Born in Stratford, proud and loving son of Joan Fink and the late Wilfred Fink.

Devoted loving husband and best friend for over 36 years to Barb (Hislop). Loving and proud father of Chad (Rachel) and Lauren Willmore (Callan). Special grandpa to Raelynn and Jayden Willmore. Cherished brother to Sandra Hartemink (Bernie), David (Joanne), and Bryan (Renee). Loyal brother-in-law to Tom Hislop (Heather), much loved son-in-law to Patricia Hislop and adored by many nieces, nephews and extended family. Predeceased by his father-in-law Keith Hislop.

Randy worked for over 40 years at A.O. Smith in Stratford in many capacities, including a long tenure in his latest position as a dedicated Plant Manager. He was a member of the Stratford Masonic Lodge #332. From an early age, Randy had a passion for sports that led him to decades of community involvement. He was well-known for his volunteer work within the Sebringville Athletic Association and Milverton Minor hockey. Randy also held the position of president of the Perth Fastball and Huron County minor fastball leagues for over 20 years. Randy left a positive impact on local minor sports, community groups, and friends and family that will be forever remembered.

The Fink family would like to thank the staff at the Stratford General Hospital ER and specifically acknowledge the ICU Unit for their tremendous care and compassion.

Visitation will be held at the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron Street, Stratford on Friday, March 8, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. The funeral service will take place at Knox Presbyterian Church, 142 Ontario Street, Stratford on Saturday, March 9, at 11 a.m. followed by a reception/celebration at the Sebringville Community Centre from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
