St. Michael boy's soccer gearing up for provincial championships

The OFSAA 'AA' tournament is Thursday to Saturday in Bradford, where the Warriors are in a pool with Sir Winston Churchill, L'Essor, ESC Hearst and Holy Trinity

St. Michael Warriors have qualified for the provincial boy's soccer championships. 

The Warriors punched their ticket after winning the WOSSAA 'AA' boys high school title last week 5-2 over London South. 

The OFSAA 'AA' tournament is Thursday to Saturday in Bradford, where the Warriors are in a pool with Sir Winston Churchill, L'Essor, ESC Hearst and Holy Trinity, the host team.

Round-robin games wrap-up on Friday and quarterfinals start later that day. The semifinals and finals are on Saturday.

St. Marys snag spot at 'A' championship

St. Marys DCVI qualified for boy's 'A' championship at Holy Cross in London. Because the tournament is hosted by WOSSAA, they earned a spot despite losing in the WOSSAA 'A' boy's final, 2-0 to Holy Cross.

St. Marys is in a pool with Heritage Christian, E.S. Roméo Dallaire, E.C. St. Charles Garnier and College Francais.
