LISTOWEL – The Stratford Warriors scored first Friday night, but it was all Listowel Cyclones after that.
The Cyclones scored four unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 victory over Stratford, giving them a 4-1 series win in their Midwestern Conference best-of-seven final.
Carson Harmer opened the scoring for Stratford at 4:35 of the first period, but Listowel had a 2-1 lead by the end of the first.
The Cyclones added the only goal of the second period then a fourth goal early in the third to put it out of reach.
Brayden Stumpf had the other Stratford goal and Carter McDougall made 47 saves in the Warriors net.
