Stratford's annual Terry Fox Run returns with an in-person option for this year's local fundraiser for cancer research.

Organizer Rena Orr said it will be interesting to note how many runners return after two years of virtual events. Participants can still choose the virtual option if they are more comfortable that way, Orr said. Participants can start the race at Upper Queen's Park, on Sunday Sept. 18, any time they want, and can run, walk, bike, hike, skate or wheel their way through the event, which runs from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Orr said there is no registration fee or minimum donation. Registration is on-line or in person, same for donations. T-shirts will be available for purchase on site or online. You can sign up here: https://run.terryfox.ca/3092

Admission is by donation with proceeds going towards the resident's activity fund. If you bring a classic car, you will have a chance at special prizes.
