St. Marys’ favourite summer festival - the Stonetown Heritage Fest is returning July 12, 13 and 14.

The festival will include street performers, food trucks, heritage tours and children’s activities. The town’s arts scene will be on display, as local musicians, actors, writers, and craftspeople showcase their talents.

“St. Marys has an incredible arts community, scenic natural surroundings and charming downtown core,” said Town of St. Marys Events Coordinator Alanna Bowes.

“We are excited to celebrate these elements and a wide array of talent at this year’s festival.”

Most of the highlights run on the Saturday during the downtown street festival. The Riverview Walkway will once again play host to an art show.

Musical headliner for the Saturday evening dance will be announced soon. Following the dance, Milt Dunnell Field is the venue for the Rotary Fireworks show.

The town said more announcements on the summertime staple are upcoming. Visit www.discoverstmarys.ca/festival for the schedule and application forms for food trucks, vendors, community groups and artists to participate.

Sponsorship and event volunteers are crucial to the success of this event. Interested individuals and businesses can contact Alanna Bowes at 519-284-2340, ext. 249 or [email protected] for more information.
