CANADIAN BASEBALL HALL OF FAME AND MUSEUM

The Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum will open for the season on Wednesday, May 1.
“On behalf of our board of directors and our staff, I’m excited to open our doors for our 27th season in St. Marys,” said Scott Crawford, the Hall’s director of operations. “We are committed to celebrating the rich history of baseball in Canada and I’m looking forward to sharing our new artifacts with our visitors.”
Some of the new artifacts on display will include:
- The uniform worn by Davis Schneider during his record-breaking MLB debut weekend that saw him collect nine hits in three games with the Toronto Blue Jays from August 4 to August 6, 2023.
- The lineup card from the game between the Cleveland Guardians and Texas Rangers on July 14, 2023 in which Bo and Josh Naylor (Mississauga, Ont.) homered in the same inning for the Guardians to become the first Canadian brothers to hit home runs in the same inning for the same major league team.
- A glove used by Blue Jays closer Jordan Romano (Markham, Ont.) during the 2023 season in which he tied a career-high with 36 saves.
- The cleats worn by left-hander James Paxton (Ladner, B.C.) on July 29, 2023 when he made his 150th major league start to become the 11th Canadian pitcher to reach that milestone.
- The hat worn by Boston Red Sox right-hander Nick Pivetta (Victoria, B.C.) on July 17, 2023 when he struck out 13 Oakland A’s batters to set a Canadian and Red Sox record for most strikeouts in a game by a relief pitcher.
- A jersey worn by Blue Jays slugger Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (Montreal, Que.) during the 2023 season in which he led all Canadian big leaguers with 26 home runs.
- The ball Seattle Mariners right-hander Matt Brash (Kingston, Ont.) threw to record his first major league postseason strikeout on October 8, 2022 in the Mariners’ 10-9 Wild Card Series clinching win over the Blue Jays.
- The jersey Philadelphia Phillies skipper and 2019 inductee Rob Thomson (Corunna, Ont.) wore when he managed the National League All-Star team to a 3-2 victory over the American League in the 2023 Midsummer Classic at T-Mobile Park in Seattle. It was the first time a Canadian has managed a team in the All-Star Game.
- A selection of artifacts from our 2024 induction class, which includes former Blue Jays all-stars Russell Martin (East York, Ont.) and Jimmy Key, national team infielder and trailblazing coach Ashley Stephenson (Mississauga, Ont.), national team pitching legend Rod Heisler (Moose Jaw, Sask.), ex-Blue Jays president Paul Godfrey and longtime Toronto baseball executive Howard Birnie.
Renovated in 2018, the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum also houses dozens of other one-of-a-kind artifacts. The museum features interactive exhibits, a gift shop and the Centre for Canadian Baseball Research, the country’s leading baseball resource centre.
The facility also offers rental space, including the R. Howard Webster Foundation Visitors Lounge, which overlooks King Field, and is ideal for work, team and personal events and functions for up to 55 people. For information about how your group can host an event at the museum, click here.
The museum is also located on a picturesque 32-acre site that includes outdoor walking trails and four premier baseball fields.
Museum Hours
May 1 to June 30 – Wednesdays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
July 1 to August 31 – Seven days a week, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
September 1 to September 30 – Fridays through Sundays, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
