Single-vehicle crash leads to various charges

Among the charges are impaired driving and possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

A single-vehicle crash last week has led to charges for a 36-year-old.

Just after 1 p.m. on Jan. 12, officers with the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police and the Huron County OPP, as well as Perth County Paramedic Services and West Perth Fire responded to the crash in the area of Perth Road 180 near Line 28, in West Perth.

One person was taken to hospital as a result of the crash though no serious injuries were reported.

Michael Greer, a 36-year-old resident of Huron-Kinloss, in Huron County, was arrested and charged with possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs, operation while prohibited under the Criminal Code and failing to comply with a probation order.
