OPP investigating 'serious' collision in Perth East

Crash took place in area of Perth Road 121 and Line 67, police say

Perth County OPP were on the scene this morning of a collision in Perth East.

Just before 9 a.m., the OPP, Perth County Paramedic Services, Perth East Fire Services, and ORNGE responded to a report of a crash involving two vehicles in the area of Road 121 and Line 67 in Perth East. 

One person was transported by ORNGE to a trauma centre, police said in a news release.

Two were transported to a local hospital. 

While a post on social media platform 'X' deemed the crash to be serious, in a later news release police said "injuries have been determined to be non-life threatening at this time". 

Road 121 remained closed between Line 61 and Perth Line 72 (Millbank) and Line 67 remained closed from Road 124 to Road 116 while OPP continued to investigate.
