$500 in food stolen from Erie Drive-in

On Monday, March 25, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. the Stratford Police Service was contacted by the owner of the Erie Drive-in Restaurant, located at 634 Erie Street, 
in the City of Stratford regarding a theft to the business.

Police attended and observed that a chain link fence at the back of the business had been cut, which allowed the suspect(s) access to several freezers.

Approximately $500 in various food items was stolen, along with the damage caused to the fence.

It is believed that the theft had occurred within the previous couple of hours before it had been discovered by the owner, however the exact time of the theft 
is unknown.

At this time there are no suspects in this matter. The Stratford Police Service is requesting anyone with information to contact the non-emergency number at
