Shirley Jean de Boer, age 81, of Stratford passed away peacefully at the Stratford General Hospital on Wednesday, January 17, 2024.
Born in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, daughter of the late Ernest and Jean (nee McKenzie) Smith. Loved wife of Hans de Boer. Loved mother of Kevin and Kim (nee Goforth) de Boer, Selina (nee de Boer) Riach, Darrick de Boer, Lynette (nee de Boer) and Jeff Iacobellis and 8 grandchildren Kaniya de Boer, Kyla de Boer, Jack Riach, Katreina Riach, Bethany de Boer, Cole Iacobellis, Abby Iacobellis and Brittany Iacobellis.
Visitation will be held Monday, January 22, 2024 from 7 – 8:30 pm at the Christian Reformed Church, 190 Athlone Crescent, Stratford and again at the church on Tuesday, January 23 from 10 am until the time of the Memorial Service at 11:00 am. A time of fellowship and refreshments will take place immediately following the service in the church hall. A private family Interment will take place in Avondale Cemetery following the reception.
