Two HPHA emergency departments resume regular hours

The hours have been affected by staffing shortages in health care

Emergency departments at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital and Clinton Public Hospital sites have resumed regular hours, the Huron Perth Healthcare Alliance (HPHA) said in today's news release.

The hours have been affected by staffing shortages in health care caused by increased demand in healthcare system and COVID-19. 

The updated schedule written below: 

  • Effective Sunday, Aug. 7, 2022 at 7 a.m. the emergency department at the St. Marys Memorial Hospital site has resumed regular hours of operation (24 hours, daily).
  • Effective Sunday, Aug. 8, 2022 at 8 a.m. the emergency department at the Clinton Public Hospital site has resumed regular reduced hours of operation (8 a.m. to 6 p.m., daily).
