A Season in Place: Stratford’s Riverside Plant Walk
9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m. @ Birnam Wood Park
Join hosts Gabby and Terran for a grounding-in-place practice and guided plant walk along the north side of the Avon River, learning plant names, basic plant identification skills, foraging ethics and safety, medicinal and edible (and poisonous?) uses, history and more! Organizers ask participants to bring their own water bottle and wear comfortable clothes and walking shoes, as it is a slow 2km walk, but it is unpaved and uneven.
