Huron Perth Public Health (HPPH)’s immunization team is partnering with YMCA Immigrant Services to offer an immunization clinic for new immigrant families tomorrow at the local YMCA.
The clinic will run from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 12 families have been booked into the clinic.
Dr. Miriam Klassen, medical officer of health for the HPPH, said in her March report to the board of health, that settlement workers from the YMCA will assist with translation and immunization records will be provided in advance, where possible, to provide recommendations for families.
The Stratford clinic will be reviewed, in order to guide potential clinics in Listowel and St. Marys.
