It’s one street party that rain or shine won’t bother.

The third annual Earth Day Street Party takes place this weekend and organizers are inviting everyone who wants to learn and to meet their eco-neighbours to join.

Hosted by Climate Momentum, the street party is in honour of the day meant to demonstrate support for environmental protection.

There will be food, provided by The Planet Diner, Grounded, and Camp Coffee Company, live music, bike tune-ups, kids activities, and plenty of opportunities to meet like-minded individuals in Stratford and area.

Organizers are also promising giveaways like seed bombs for those attending.

Some familiar faces will be there, such as the Stratford Public Library, the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, and the Local Community Food Centre, among others, with booths, representatives, and ideas to share.

The Earth Day Street Party takes place on April 20 from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Factory 163, located at 163 King St.
