A 17-year-old from London faces weapons and drug charges after two teens were charged by Stratford police last Tuesday.

Two youth from London were arrested and charged in Stratford for a host of offences, while one resident-teen was released.

The Stratford Police Services (SPS) is reporting that last Thursday police arrested three individuals on Shakespeare Street in the City of Stratford.

The three individuals were known to police and were identified as a 19-year-old male resident of London, a 17-year-old male resident of London, and a 16-year-old male resident of Stratford.

The 16-year-old was released at the scene with no charges laid. The other two individuals were transported to Stratford Police Headquarters.

The 19- year-old was later released on an undertaking and is required to attend court on July 10, 2023. The 17-year-old was charged with numerous weapons and drug related offences, as well as several breach of judicial release orders.
