Two trucks, trailer reported stolen in West Perth

Two trucks and a trailer valued at more than $75,000 were reported stolen at 1 a.m. and 6 a.m. on June 19 from a residence on Line 21 in West Perth. OPP say both vehicles were unlocked with the keys inside at the time they were stolen.

The stolen items are described as a 2008 White Ford SRW, a 2021 Black Chevrolet Silverado and a 2012 Black flatbed JDJ BC trailer.

On June 17, Perth OPP charged an 18-year-old Sebringville resident with race motor vehicle - excessive speed after they were clocked travelling more than 130 km/hr in an 80 km/h limit zone. Officers conducted a traffic stop shortly before 10:30 a.m. on Perth Road 130 in the Perth County. The accused had their license suspended for 30 days and vehicle impounded for 14 days a s a result.

Perth OPP responded to a report of theft from a business on Mitchell Road South in Listowel on June 17. A 28-year-old from Campbell River, BC was arrested and charged with theft under $5,000 - shoplifting and is scheduled to appear in court at a later date.

Also on June 17, Perth OPP officers responded to a report of a stolen ATV from a residence on Line 90 in North Perth. Police say the keys were with the vehicle at the time it was stolen. The stolen ATV is described as a 2017 Black CANA LW with a red bumper and several stickers.
