Stratford Police Service's street crime unit and emergency response teams executed a search warrant Sunday night that turned up some weapons, bear spray and a lot of methamphetamine.
On Sunday at approximately 9:30 p.m., police executed a search warrant at a residence on Huron Street. After a search, police located, and seized, approximately 225 grams of meth, four brass knuckles, bear spray, and a small amount of cash.
As a result of the investigation, a 29-year-old male resident of Stratford was arrested and transported to Stratford Police headquarters. The male was charged with numerous offences including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose.
The accused has been released from custody with a court date set for March 13.
