On Thursday afternoon, officers with the Perth County Ontario Provincial Police were called to assist in a workplace incident.
Perth County Emergency Medical Services and West Perth Fire Services responded initially to a report in the area of Line 34 in Perth East.
Police say that, while unloading a Utility Terrain Vehicle, an individual became trapped underneath the vehicle and sustained serious injuries.
A 53-year-old resident of Manitoba was taken to hospital where they were pronounced deceased.
The Ministry of Labour was contacted and is investigating the incident.
