The Stratford Police Service is investigating damage to the public washroom at Cadzow Park in St. Marys.

Police say the washrooms have been vandalized regularly since opening on May 20.

"The washrooms have been vandalized every weekend since the washrooms were opened," a Stratford Police said. "The vandalism has mainly consisted of graffiti to the walls inside the washroom, but structural damage to accessories within the washroom have also been reported."

As a result, the Town of St. Marys has made the decision to close public washrooms at Cadzow Park, the St. Marys Lawn Bowling Club, and the Kin Pavilion between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. daily.

Anyone with information on the vandalism is asked to contact the police at (519) 271-4141 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS.
