Police arrest 20-year-old following break and enter in Perth East

Police arrested a 20-year-old in connection with a theft and break-and-enter that occurred on Aug. 3 at a business located on Line 34 in Perth East.

Perth OPP said they were notified about the incident after a motion alarm was set off. The business had a monitored security system.

The accused was arrested after leaving the area with a bag with "stolen property" from the business.

The accused male has been charged with break and enter with intent to commit an indictable offence, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000, obstruct a peace officer, resist a peace officer and assault a peace officer with a weapon
