On Wednesday morning Perth County OPP were called to a North Perth residence for a report of a break-in.
Police were called just after 7:30 a.m. to investigate. A workshop was entered between 12:30 a.m. and 7:30 a.m.
A 2023 black Chevrolet Silverado was taken from the scene and later recovered at an address on David Street in Wingham, Several power tools, including Stihl-brand chainsaws and Dewalt-brand impact drivers and drills were also taken and have not yet been recovered.
The investigation remains ongoing.
Arrest made in mid-November incident
A West Perth resident was arrested in connection with mischief at a business in the early-morning hours of Nov. 16.
Police were called to the scene at approximately 1:11 a.m. to a business on St. George Street in West Perth.
Police say a window was damaged with the damage estimated at being just over $1,800.
As a result of the investigation, a 52-year-old was arrested and is charged with mischief under $5,000.
